Types of shoes currently on the market:
The fundamental division is between the first roller skates and ice skates. The wheels are then divided into shoes “quad,” or the classic four-wheeled skates and “online”, not just the Rollerblade, certainly the most modern and similar use to those of ice. Rollerblade is in fact, as one might think, a specific type of shoe, just the logo that was the first to commercially exploit the idea on a large scale of a shoe for everyone to move on public roads, not only on slopes.

There are also other types of inline skates, like Snow White and the Pic Skates (although these are trademarks of companies) that are used in the “figure skating”, in which there is no rear brake and the pad (or rostrum front), far from being used as a brake, is used instead for jump and figures, such as the buffer of the quad and how the teeth of ice skates.
Roller skates:
The first models were wood, up to 50 cm long, then came the metal and finally the boots as we know, the one with ball bearings and two pairs of plastic wheels. The races with roller skates are made necessarily on smooth surfaces and hard, that enhance the smoothness and lack of hazard, and often this end, the areas closed to traffic, such as during the events and city festivals. The classic track for the roller-skating is a streak interrupted by two corners and two straights, all raised and tilted inward.
