LCD TVs:

LCD TV basically refers to one that has a LCD (liquid crystal display, hence they are known as “LCD”) whose thinness gives the characteristic of being flat.

This display consists of a number of pixels in color or monochrome located in front of a light source. Each of these small liquid crystals allow light to pass or block according to the electrical load to which they are exposed, thus forming the images we see on screen.
